Telemetry and data
Sensor selection, channel design, logger configuration and install, so the data you need is there after the session, accurate and complete.

Plenty of cars carry a logger and still come back from a session with the wrong channels, noisy traces, or gaps. A logger on its own is not data. The value is in choosing the right sensors, wiring them so they read true, and configuring the system so the answers you need are actually recorded.
- Work out what the team needs to learn, then design the channel list and sample rates to answer it.
- Select and place sensors that read accurately in the real environment, not just on a calm bench.
- Configure the logger or dash, including maths channels, alarms and the layout the driver and engineer use.
- Install, validate the data against known references, and confirm nothing is lost across a full session.
- A working data setup with the right sensors, channels and sample rates for the car and the questions being asked.
- Logger and dash configuration with documented channels and maths.
- Validation that the recorded data is accurate and complete across a session.
- MoTeC, Haltech, Link, Emtron, AiM and OEM CAN
- Analogue, digital and thermocouple sensors, GPS and inertial measurement
- Integration with the wiring and any custom hardware we build
Data is only useful if it is accurate, complete, and answers the question the team is actually asking. A logger that records the wrong channels at the wrong rate is just storage.
We treat telemetry and data as an engineering job, not a parts fitment. That starts with what the team needs to understand about the car, then works back to the channels, sensors and sample rates that will answer it. Sensor selection and placement matter as much as the logger: a good sensor in the wrong place, or wired through a noisy ground, gives you a confident wrong answer.
We configure the logger or dash, including the maths channels, alarms and the screen layouts the driver and engineer rely on. Then we validate the data against known references and confirm nothing drops across a full session, in the car, under the conditions it has to work in.
This work pairs directly with our custom embedded engineering, so the sensing, the wiring and the logging are designed as one system rather than three that happen to share a car.
